Stack Market launch

Little bit out of the centre but the chapel has by far the best beer in mbro, Isaacs also has some decent stuff , your right about stockton plenty of good places
Yeah Ive heard that. Wanna give it a whirl but not sure we'll have time before kick off and post Manjaros lunch 🤣

I like Wetherspoons, no music, no karaoke, no football(i watch that at home) no bands.
The foods not great I admit, but cheap beer all served at the right temperature, what's not to like?
You are not allowed to like Wetherspoons pubs on here, the owner was part of Brexit, it is in the rules. ;)

I'm with you and enjoy a Wetherspoons pub due to being able to talk to one another without shouting.

I'm also a fan.

Cheap drinks makes them go down nicely. As already said, no music is a bonus. I find there's always a good atmosphere in a Spoons.

Paying over the odds for a pint sours a day or night out for me.

Swatters is one of the better ones in the chain, usually in there on a matchday as my dad likes to send me a pint and I send him one back if he’s in the Ward Jackson.

Isaac Wilson does nice food and good beer 😛
Infant Hercules good little pub too

Also don’t like paying over the odds - 5.50 for a Guinness in O’Connells, won’t do that again

Went tonight, absolutely heaving, drinks were good, food was actually really nice and the music was great.

Prices were a bit on the high side, but the staff were all friendly and it didn't take that long to get served for either food or drinks.

Really enjoyed myself, definitely a good addition to the area.

Only slight downside was the rampant coke use in the men's toilets taking up all the cubicles, but it is what it is, you get that all over nowadays.

Weather spoons are a great option for an away day when schedules are tight and you want a meal. Great value for food plus pint.
Must be doing something right because they are always massive and rammed.
Wouldn't bother outside of a match day though.

£3.14 for a breakfast and £2.36 for carling or coors in my local spoons in Byker .. what's not to like 🤷‍♂️

Apart from the area being rough as boots haha

Been a few times now and think it's spot on, Been really busy every time I've went, and the food has been good. Got me thinking if all of these people had been going to eat/drink elsewhere in Boro, or they're out simply because of Stack. Great addition to the town!

Agree about the coke use though, mental how brazen it is these days. Literally groups and groups of lads in and out.

Popped in today for the first time. Just for an hour before the walk down to the game and only had a soft drink. Been off the booze since Boxing Day and not boozing again until the Sunderland match.

It was really busy when I got there about 1:30. Decent acoustic act on too. Didn’t have any food as had some lunch before leaving the house.

Early finish for Sunderland game so will pop in mid afternoon for the full experience and get some food and drinks.

Decent little hub for match day though. DJ was playing some decent tunes and with live music as well, can’t really fall off if that’s your thing.
