Think the Forest fans would go ballistic if they went up and didn't sign him, so from a business point of view probably better for us if they do go up, spend a big chuck of their PL riches on him.
Interesting.
I don't think they would, not if they spent that 15m on one or two proven premiership players. I supppose Spence could be more of a project, for one of the better sides, that will get more of the ball than Forest will.
They're going to be struggling, big time, if they do go up, and from what I remember Spence wasn't much of a "fighter". If his head starts to drop, then that £15 will look expensive.
I don't think he's anywhere near proven yet mind, certainly not to sustain prem level, and I watched their big games objectively, rather than watched from behind the rose tinted hype coming from the commentators.
If we get £15m for Spence, then someone (other than us) is likely getting stung, and I can't remember the last time we did that to anyone, usually teams get a bargain from us as it's under different circumstances. I could be wrong about Spence mind, and it may just have been that we were using him poorly, which wouldn't have been the first time, but we did see a lot of him and nobody was bothered when he went out on loan. He's going to have any side play to his strengths (not even Forest, if they go up, as they won't have the ball), he'll have to fit into how anyone wants to play (big sides) or has to play (bad sides), and get on with it. I'm not sure if he's a player you can rely on, when the chips are down.
