I’m weighing up whether to stay in the UK a couple of extra days and go to the SOL.
Do it, loads of tickets still available (I managed to get my mate one just a couple of rows down from my seats on Friday)

Of course he opened with Waitin’ on a Sunny Day* this time.Yeah, wouldn't fancy being stood on the pitch.
It was similar the last time he played at the SOL. I remember him laughing while he sang Waitin’ on a Sunny Day.![]()

Yep, if that’s him bowing out of live shows, then he went out on a high for me. The man is awesome for 73.Fantastic gig. Really poignant version of I'll see you in my dreams to finish.
Traffic getting away from the SoL is poor at the best of times.Just back. Only complaint would be about the morons who left the signage up for a lane closure on the A19 causing all the southbound traffic to bunch into one lane and as they turned the corner... no closure. Genius.
Yeah, have to agree with that, and to make it worse we were stuck behind someone with the brightest brake lights I’ve ever seen. They were blinding, I’m sure you could have seen them from Scotland!Just back. For the football, if you wait until the final whistle, the traffic has usually cleared.Traffic getting away from the SoL is poor at the best of times.
