Have a great night, wish I was going!I'm off to Wembley on Saturday, taking one of my mates who's having to "revise Springsteen" at the moment, as my wife has had to drop out as we've no one to look after our little girl.

It was just kind of luck and coincidence really, I had my family over for his concerts here and we were in the same hotel as him. Before he left he came down to the lobby and signed things and took photos, there was about 10 people including me. He always comes to the same hotel here so I had a feeling there was a chance it might happen!
The one thing that I found quite shocking was the state he was in after the two shows, the first night when he got back to the hotel he was passed out and had to be carried from his car into the hotel. After the second show he walked in unaided but he looked absolutely exhausted and could barely put one foot in front of the other. He really does leave everything on the stage, if there was ever any doubt!
I went last night, my first time seeing him (fulfilling an ambition I've held since I was 15) with my Springsteen-sceptic wife.
Genuinely revelatory. Was in tears when he played Thunder Road.

When I went to Murrayfield last year there were a couple of guys, probably in their 60s, next to me. Looked like they were twin brothers for whom Springsteen had probably soundtracked so many memories. They were absolutely loving the gig. Getting right into every song. As Thunder Road intro played out I turned to acknowledge them with a smile to see them both in floods or tears arms round each other. For those that have never been it's really hard to explain just how emotional a Springsteen gig is. I've never found myself so emotional at a gig before and as @stjohn said above "I'll See You In My Dreams" absolutely finished me off!
San Sebastian very appealing but looks really tricky to get to.New dates for 2025, I’ll hopefully get to Manchester and San Sebastián.
How lucky, 3 summers in a row of Bruce and the band!
Going to see McCartney in December there so if I like it I’ll go there, if not maybe Anfield as I do prefer the outdoor shows. We’re definitely going for the Co-op arena at the Ettihad. We saw the Eagles and Doobie Brothers there this year, and the acoustics are absolutely amazing.

The Manchester one should be great mate.Trying for Manchester when they're on sale. We saw him in 1985 and then again this year. Typical, you wait 39 years and then see him twice inside 12 months![]()
Yeah, his voice just won’t hold up any moreAny idea why?
