They might have done if there had been any houses. It were all fields around here when I were a lad. And nobody ever locked their doors.
We have doors on our warrens mate and we do keep them locked these days. They might have done if there had been any houses.
Only if you have the sensitivities of a prim and proper Elizabethan lady.Is calling people scum offensive ?
Nonsense obviously. Indeed (no, not him) a lot of the people who you would point to being like that no longer post. The anti Tory thing is that they weren't in power during the first decade of the forum so couldn't do as much Torying as they have done since. Can't be a coincidence they got back in while Strachan was manager.Been on here since about 2005 used to be working class Boro fans chatting football and having a bit of craic with the odd wind up or funny story. Definitely been hijacked a bit by the anti Tory anti Royals brigade with some pretty unpleasant and patronising comments.
It is total nonsense. This board has always been brilliant for non-Boro and football conversations. To claim it use to be only about Boro is absolutely b***ks.Nonsense obviously. I would say to be anti Tory these days is just a sign of common decency and humanityBeen on here since about 2005 used to be working class Boro fans chatting football and having a bit of craic with the odd wind up or funny story. Yes that is the only thing that has changed. Everyone seems to have accepted that agreeing to meet up for a fight in real life is hilarious, but other than that it’s basically the same as it’s been since day dot.I'd say it was worse for arguments years ago, but probably a bit funnier.
No one agrees to meet up at the Southern Cross car park for a fight these days. Mores the pity
I’d say Fmttm is its own micro climate compared to what the majority of the U.K. population actually think in generalI would say to be anti Tory these days is just a sign of common decency and humanity
The polling would suggest otherwise. The amount of anti Tory sentiment in the country is massive and fully justified by the way they treat us. Do you see it different?I’d say Fmttm is its own micro climate compared to what the majority of the U.K. population actually think in general
......says the guy who voted for them 8 years into their tenency !I would say to be anti Tory these days is just a sign of common decency and humanity
The Tories are toast. They know it and they’re desperately trying to scare people in the hope it secures votes.I’d say Fmttm is its own micro climate compared to what the majority of the U.K. population actually think in general
It isn't really. The country is generally centre to left and Teesside has generally been similar with the mix you'd expect of an industrial and rural area.I’d say Fmttm is its own micro climate compared to what the majority of the U.K. population actually think in general
I just suspect that when it comes down to it (voting) and looking back through history, that people don’t trust the Labour Party to run the country. That’s how i see it going when the time comes for people to go to a polling station. The polling would suggest otherwise. The amount of anti Tory sentiment in the country is massive and fully justified by the way they treat us. Do you see it different?
If the country is centre left then why has there been a right leaning government for the majority of the last hundred yearsIt isn't really. The country is generally centre to left and Teesside has generally been similar with the mix you'd expect of an industrial and rural area.
That is true, but back during the 2010, 2015, 2017 and 2019 elections there was always huge anti-Tory sentiment on here too.The polling would suggest otherwise. The amount of anti Tory sentiment in the country is massive and fully justified by the way they treat us. Do you see it different?
The Labour Party will not run the country. That is the job of local government and the Civil Service.I just suspect that when it comes down to it (voting) and looking back through history, that people don’t trust the Labour Party to run the country. That’s how i see it going when the time comes for people to go to a polling station.
