Clearly some weren't around before the Putsch.
Much much better now.
And this from someone who has seen a yellow card on occasion.

Nonsense obviously. Indeed (no, not him) a lot of the people who you would point to being like that no longer post. The anti Tory thing is that they weren't in power during the first decade of the forum so couldn't do as much Torying as they have done since. Can't be a coincidence they got back in while Strachan was manager.

It is total nonsense. This board has always been brilliant for non-Boro and football conversations. To claim it use to be only about Boro is absolutely b***ks.

Yes that is the only thing that has changed. Everyone seems to have accepted that agreeing to meet up for a fight in real life is hilarious, but other than that it’s basically the same as it’s been since day dot.

The polling would suggest otherwise. The amount of anti Tory sentiment in the country is massive and fully justified by the way they treat us. Do you see it different?

The Tories are toast. They know it and they’re desperately trying to scare people in the hope it secures votes.

How anyone can vote for them is truly beyond me.

It isn't really. The country is generally centre to left and Teesside has generally been similar with the mix you'd expect of an industrial and rural area.

I just suspect that when it comes down to it (voting) and looking back through history, that people don’t trust the Labour Party to run the country. That’s how i see it going when the time comes for people to go to a polling station.

If the country is centre left then why has there been a right leaning government for the majority of the last hundred years 🤔

The Labour Party will not run the country. That is the job of local government and the Civil Service.

What the Tories have done for 14 years is deliberately under fund all aspects of the Civil Service and local government. It has been a deliberate policy to attack those who need support the most.

This lot of neo-liberal Tories will do away with all society if they can get away with it. You will not be a citizen, but a consumer.
 
There is some great stuff on here too.

It’s lovely to see how people are prepared to help and support others in this community - ill health, depression, travel ideas et al

There is also some good debate where people do engage well with each other.

Yup there is some daft stuff - and some of the personal abuse can be OTT.

As already said we are a microcosm of a phuked up society so it’s bound to be reflect that at times.

Put a smile on your face when attacked and enjoy the good :)
