Some not very nice chanting last night

I’m gay.

The rent boy chants really don’t offend me one little bit.

If it’s personal and deliberately aimed at an individual to hurt and belittle them that’s a different matter.

I do get why lgbt fan groups make a thing about it though. Last guy I went out with thought football was a bastion of heterosexuality and freaked out when I suggested I take him to a match one day. He quite liked me in a football top though. No further comment.

“Does chanting things like this really hurt anyone? Yes it may be offensive to some. But whatever you say adversary is seen by some to be offensive these days. Just suck it up and ignore it. It only becomes a problem when you take it home from the match and still feel offended. Give over acting so precious.”

Your deluded text above is what is wrong here and like Muttley says, you can’t cure stupid.

Especially stupid bigotry.
There is no bigotry in any of my comments. I suggest you educate yourself and understand what is being said. You keep trying to jump on a pedestal and think only your view is correct. OK, for the benefit of your humble mind ( even though you've tried having me banned and failed) I'll help you out in children's tems. My words are just a bit like we told you when you were little. Sticks and stones won't break my bones and that kind of thing. Its not good what is being sang and I disagree with it! But, even if it is directed at you (which I'm guessing it is as I'm assuming you're from teesside)? What effect does it have on you when you go home? Of you give it fuel by teacting and taking it home with you it will never stop. Instead go home and educated our children.

Sorry I tried to get you banned? Please expand.

It’s not good what we sang and I disagree with it ….. BUT!

The classic defence mechanism.

As a kid I always thought boro were singing Reg Boys as is Reggae Boys (so I pictured loads of Bob Marley’s as Chelsea fans) 😂

Then when I heard rent boys I didn’t really understand what it meant or how it came about and just assumed the male escort industry was pretty rife around Chelsea. Pictured scantily clad young men walking the streets of Chelsea like the women used to over the border after a game 🤷🏼‍♂️

You are using a very shallow argument. That we shouldn't be offended by words/chants intended to offend? That we shouldn't be offended unless it affects ourselves directly?

Rather a juvenile "debating position" but hey, you probably think you're being clever.

As someone else has no doubt said to you, you can't cure stupid.
I've already explained previously about your argument regarding only defendinding things that affect yourself. You're right with your last comment. Try reading. Thank you

You can tell that the fans knew it wasn't right to be singing that, it didn't take off properly and the way it died out, you could hear the embarrassment in the way that it just petered out
I sit in the SW corner and it did start in the South stand by a few but when it happened, it was quickly and deliberately drowned out with another chant.

As opposed to the being offended by everything defence and not doing anything about it anywhere in the real world.
I have done a fair bit actually not like you would know, offended by everything? No, but I do like to stamp it out when people like yourself say stupid things.

I was in the North stand and it was quite clear most of the South stand where singing it. A woman well in her 50s in front of me also joined in. Is anyone from Chelsea actually offended by this ?

Your fibbing , as there's no way 4k were joining in ..

Most of the south stand? Are you sure?

I sat in the east and personally it sounded like it originated in the north and quickly spread.
