In all seriousness I think he needs to start from the back. Going up top we have options for the time being and even our midfield is pretty much sorted out if it can retain confidence. But our defence looks incredibly disjointed, Fry hasn't been the same player under Warnock, Hall just can't be trusted long-term, Dijksteel I like but I can imagine won't fit into what Wilder wants to do. I think Wilder would probably look to sign someone younger as an option at the back.
Think he might look to get more cover up top too - potentially Oli McBurnie?

Would give Daniels a chance to January but would suggest we need a keeper. Stojanovic may actually be more a Wilder keeper than the other 2.
If he wants to play the same as has in the past we will need a fit left footed centre back capable of getting up and down the pitch.
We will need a play maker who sits deep ( he loved Norwood) we don’t have anyone capable.
He also likes a link man between the striker and midfield ( McGoldrick) who for me would be someone we should br targeting. Tremendous footballer at this level.

McGoldrick won't fit into Scott's recruitment model of players under 30 who can do a job for us whilst here but can be sold on for bigger and better things. If anyone comes in from Sheff U, it'll be Brewster or McBurnie

1st change Captain. Howson isnt a leader. Give it to Bamba or McNair.
2. Drop Howson. See if he can get a solid midfield pair out of a combo of Siliki, Payero, McNair and maybe look at bringing somone in.
3. Back to no frills football. 442 or 451 get some points on the board make sure we dint get sucked into the cluster at the bottom

True but may be you could get away with signing 1. Brewster and McBurnie will be on huge wages. They were signed for big fees whilst Sheff U were in premier league.

Spence (recalled from Forest - loves his wing backs)

McNair
Crooks (linked with him a lot whilst at Sheff U)
Payero
Coburn
Sporar
He'll probably build his side around whatever weaknesses he identifies from that.

Know your best players for possible systems.
Under Pulis, Woodgate and Warnock we got good results when the team was apparently threadbare and cobbled together... or perhaps the 'backup' players were in fact the better options all along.

Can we recall Spence? Whikst id have him back, Jones offers more and is a much better player. Wouldnt have Spence back st the expense of Jones. Crooks really havent been impressed with and bssed on what ive seen, would hope hes justa squad player.

We need clean sheets. I know that's easier with actual fit defenders. We've been ahead in last two games. So keep a clean sheet and we nick them both.
I think we need a really decent keeper. We've had one in 10 years and that's Randolph. Then again you pay 5mil and 30k a week 'you get what you pay for'. A good keeper wins you points... Like a good CF. How many worldies did Randolph do with games at 0-0 or 1-0.
The fact is he can't do much until Jan. So it's down to tactics / formations and maybe getting them fitter after recent 2nd half performances. Interestingly he mentioned the injuries and why they are happing (as did Warnock).
