Silvera's miss

Shame, as scoring it would have kept our season alive, albeit only on a mathematical extreme long shot.
Ho hum

Goal keeper and two defenders on the line. No guarantee of it going in anyway. Maybe the better chance was the two red shirts unable to get it as it came off the bar

Yeah I thought it was a goal if he hit it, but on replay it’s by no means a given that it goes in. If anything a bit of calmness to take a touch might’ve been the best option

No need for a touch. That’s an incredibly easy goal to score. Horrendous to miss tha ball completely
It’s not incredibly easy. I thought at first all he had to do was hit it, but there’s bodies in the way. Each to their own though 👍

Forss’ chance had an xG of 0.27, Silvera’s would still be well under 0.5 at a guess. It just looks worse as he kicks fresh air.

Forgot about Forss's miss until I saw the EFL highlights tonight
Burnley's Fofana also missed one - so it was a bit of a day for them
Werner for Spurs too

I've watched it back and I still can't get my head around how he managed to miss the ball.

It wasn't as if the ball came at him quickly.

Silvera missed a few last minute sitters first few games this season too I recall. Useless pub team level player

Missed a sitter against Coventry at 1-0 down, then a week later, blazed one wide with the goal at his mercy against Huddersfield in the last minute and then the same again yesterday, goal gaping and he missed the ball.

He's just not very good, we could have been a good 5/6 points better off with the chances he has missed.

I thought Carrick made a poor choice taking our only CF off and replacing him with Silvera.
However it’s not an easy finish, that’s when you need a proper CF, he would instinctively volley it towards goal, between the 2 defenders on the line.

And a few points worse off without the chances he’s taken.
