Not sure anything does, that’s the point. It’s not really a thing.Honestly if her acts don’t constitute having your citizenship revoked then what does?

It is a thing because she has. The whole post and multiple replies are centred around that it is wrong that it has been revoked. Not sure anything does, that’s the point. It’s not really a thing.
I’ve said above I think she very possibly poses a risk to society and I don’t think she can just slot back in. I don’t know what the answer is, I just know that there are lots of monstrous murderers out there who still have UK passports and the usual course of action isn’t to remove it.It is a thing because she has. It’s honestly scary the consensus of the general poster in this forum.
If this person is fit to live in the UK amongst the general population then where is the line drawn? What do you have to do to be considered a risk to society?
None of the “Begum back to UK“ supporters would be shouting so loud if she was going to be moved next door, “ move her to TS3 or Whinney Banks” they would cry.World has gone absolutely mad.
Person leaves country where preach hate is not a thing to join country/group which preaches hate on the country she left.
Who would want this woman / any relative of this woman to live in close proximity to them?
All the woke posters on this thread but who would actually put their hand up and say yes let this woman live next door to me and my children?

It is really a thing, hence her losing it and being rejected by the country of her families birthNot sure anything does, that’s the point. It’s not really a thing.
Ok, its a dangerous precedent. It is really a thing, hence her losing it and being rejected by the country of her families birth
How wrong can you be.
They start with somebody who went to join a group with the sole purpose of dishing out terror to persons of the UK and other enemy states.
Jesus christ you are nuts. Our government don't get to decide who is british and who isn't. If you are born british you stay british. To parrot this back at you. It scares me that you think its ok for a government to decide whether you and I are british, or not. It aint their F***ing decision to makeIt is a thing because she has. But it obviously is , and they have done the same to another 140 people I believe, now if their actions have prevented even the remotest chance of an innocent member of the public being harmed in any way , then I,m all for it .Jesus christ you are nuts. Legally it clearly is!Jesus christ you are nuts. Our government don't get to decide who is british and who isn't. If you are born british you stay british. To parrot this back at you. It’s highly unlikely the government would start dictating who is British unless you join a sadistic terrorist organisation.Jesus christ you are nuts. I really can't be bothered going over why this is wrong and what it means for 6 million brits. It’s highly unlikely the government would start dictating who is British unless you join a sadistic terrorist organisation.
It then becomes a grey area, as she denounced her UK citizenship to represent an Islamic state.
It is the governments decision to make hence the legal outcome.
I’m unsure where my morals are on this as I appreciate that she was 15 and has suffered personal loss over this. I also think it’s important to remember the children her terrorist organisation murdered in this country and their sadistic treatment of women and homosexuals.
It’s a tough one.
I think her family are Bangladeshi and even their government refused her entry
Oh that's OK then. It’s highly unlikely the government...
Practically - how does this work?I really can't be bothered going over why this is wrong and what it means for 6 million brits.
Oh dear.Derr
See Mutleys post #358. Cheers Mutters, saved me the bother.Practically - how does this work?
“Measures introduced in 2006 mean that any dual national can be deprived of their UK citizenship if the home secretary believes this would be “conducive to the public good”.
Since 2014, the measures have also applied to naturalised UK citizens who the home secretary “has reasonable grounds to believe” are eligible for foreign citizenship, even if they do not currently possess dual nationality.”
Imagine you are in the uk and deprived of citizenship and don’t have dual nationality - you can’t exactly be deported to anywhere so what happens - - you are forced to apply for dual nationality and then deported?
It doesn’t really explain it or perhaps I’m not getting it.See Mutleys post #358. Cheers Mutters, saved me the bother.
