It was fairly well discussed on here at the time. Ayala was named as playing but he was out injured and the team was not posted again thereafter

like coburn getting a start. I will slag crooks off now so he has his inevitable game where he scores one and sets up two for coburn. But I don’t like seeing him in the team from the start. He is never a number 10. McGree should be there and play Silvera left and Jones on the right.

Same I love Crooks the person I don't love Crooks the player, he loses possession a lot in the final third and he's very slow.

He had an ice pack strapped when he came off.
Bangura was obviously injured too.

Howson has looked like a 35 yr old player, out injured for a couple of months with no serious pre season under his belt.

He has , however it's his captain, so not an ' easy ' decision..

Howson getting replaced is understandable with how dreadful our midfield has been so far.

I think lathe has been dropped to the bench to give him a breather. Bare in mind he runs his nuts off and, I think, had played every game. Add in Carrick might be protecting him from becoming shot shy due to his misses

Well I think Silvera playing instead of Forss and crooks at 10 are misguided, but nevertheless should be good enough to beat Wednesdays. Engel was inevitable and better than Coulson for me RVDB is a coin toss at RB, but he is taller and a bit quicker than Paddy. Coburn up top is a surprise but if he wants a look there probably isn’t a better game to do it.

I would have preferred Forss in and Greenwood or Lath but hopefully Carrick knows his onions from his turnips.

Looks like Forss must be injured, not even on the bench
