Rob Edwards

More of the same in terms of style, hopefully not results!

He's favoured 3-4-1-2 in the past. Potentially McGree as a 10 behind Muniz/Forss?

I did catch some analysis of a recent FGR game where they were comparing current performances to Edward's time at the club. He tends to deploy a zonal pressing system, which can be incredibly difficult to bypass but I'm not 100% sure we have the players for approach - either pace or intelligence wise. There must have been a reason Wilder ditched the high press?

Rob Edwards had one good season at Forest Green Rovers in Div2. Not enough for me, it would be a big risk.

Compared with Wilder whose had a 8th, 7th and 2nd in the Championship.

If he couldn’t get results with Sarr and Joao Pedro he’s going to absolutely love Alex Mowatt.
In all seriousness, looking at the current squad you do wonder how any progressive coach would do.

We really struggle to press intensely (or intelligently) and we have very little technical quality in the squad.

Maybe we should have appointed a DoF who favours a six across the back "thou shalt not pass" approach :D
