Rob Edwards

To be interviewed. What do we think?
I think most of its have said what we think on the Chris Wilder sacked thread about this potential manager. Underwhelming is not the word. Watford fans aghast at how out of his depth he was in the job there - a team underperforming for the resources they have and his experience previously only with Forest Green. Far too early to throw him into what is going to be a cauldron of job to start to get the team on an upwards trajectory of results. So a big NO from me.

I'm unsure what everyone stating Edwards would be a good move for us are basing this on?

I, and I'd imagine most on here, didn't see his Forest Green Rovers team kick a ball and he has been sacked at Watford for underperforming who have a much stronger and better squad than ours.

He seems highly regarded and let's face it, he had zero time at Watford.

He was the first guy I shortlisted on another thread a few weeks ago...be over the moon with this appointment.

It's all about trying to get the new upcoming manager. Not a 'has been'

The last 4 managers we've had (except Woodgate) have all been 'very experienced'...maybe we're going to try go down the route of 'upcoming and potential'

I mentioned Corberan on another thread, and would be happy with him.

Mark Robins hadn't even came into my head until I've seen that Bailey tweet. I think he'd be a great appointment. Cov fans absolutely love him, but I think the fact he's currently in work would rule that one out if Gibson's history is anything to go by.

Definitely not to Edwards.
