For me, the move hasn't worked. I think they should've been aiming for a tad higher up directly behind the goal not front rows to the side. I'm middle of the North stand and i can hear them, obviously, but not as much as previously - but as mentioned previously, that could be that the football hasn't hardly helped inspire but RFs ethos is, or was, to keep a constant regardless of whats happening on the pitch.
The letter that was handed out is a massive own goal. They can pass that sort of information out between themselves, but if anyone told me or my kids to put their phones down they'd get told where to go. Phone signal pretty much means its just a paperweight anyway but i will check other scores, and texts from friends and family at my leisure during a game. Passing these out, and shouting at people on their phones will just get their backs up and turn people against them at a time when they should be getting folk on side.
The lad with the megaphone needs to stop the siren, that's mind numbingly annoying. Use it to create an atmosphere, start songs off along with the drum but that siren is crap - if it was an ambulance siren, and was used when an opposition player was feigning injury and used correctly it could become quite funny but at the minute its just crap. Be good if they could make it count when opposition GK is taking 20 seconds + to release the ball. They should also bring back the large cards with numbers on which were held up when a player dived, during the days when CR7 played for Man U for example
