Ravel Morrison has left the club

There has be lots over the years - didn't we loan Morrison until the end of June, so it wasn't really a full signing.

We are certainly clearing the decks financially.

As obvious as anything has ever been that someone like him is not what you need in a relegation battle.

I said at the time we signed him that he causes splits in dressing rooms. I work with a guy whose son plays for Sheff Utd and he confirmed what we all know. Looks good in training but is a bad influence in the dressing room and then puts no effort in on the pitch. He still thinks he's the next big thing but that ship has well and truly sailed and he hasn't realised it himself it.

Morrison is going to end up a particular footballer. Undoubted talent that is never fulfilled. 20 clubs across a career without actually making an impact at any.

Morrison probably could have been a premier league player but he wasted crucial years of his development being an absolute bell end.

Sounds like he's probably sorted his attitude out and has all the technical ability you'd wish for but doesn't know how to use it in match situations because he has pretty much no experience.

If he's serious about any sort of career he needs to drop down at least one level, maybe two till he's guaranteed a game week in week out. The odd cameo here and there isn't doing him anything. One or two full seasons under his belt and he might be ready for championship level or top flight in a lesser European league, like Holland. Although he'll be pushing 30 by then.

Failing that he could always just go and play in Scotland......

You can see the photo in a few weeks time. A beaming Morrison and his new manager and they're both 'delighted' at the signing. The manager will endeavour to bring out the best in Morrison, tell the press he's the best player he's ever seen in training, and if he could just harness him, he will have a player on his hands. And then the next manager, then the next and the next...

'wonder kid' Alex Nimley. In true Boro style his one good game was against us when bombed out to Coventry.

I'm not sure he scored again....'typical Boro' 😂
