Raducanu!!!

US Open wasn't a fluke however her body clearly isn't up to a full season on the tour yet and she is suffering. Her form actually picked up in Madrid but injuries still letting her down.

She'll get better as her fitness and conditioning improves. Even if she doesn't, she's our most successful female tennis player for decades.

Simply hasn't lived up the hype
Beaten yet again in a big tournament
On her 4th coach in a year. Something wrong somewhere because she has all the tallent.
The back injury last night obviously didn’t help. As well as strapping to the thigh and hamstring.

Clay is also her worst surface.

She's ranked 11 in the world at just 19 year old, and because she lost to the current world number 1 last week and lost carrying an injury this week then she is suddenly not living up to the hype??

Some Brits can't wait to get stuck into our sports people.

There's something wrong with you fella. First Lewis Hamilton now Emma Raducanu.

Sadly a 1 hit wonder. She's probably 11th in the world due to the US Open win.

I hope I am wrong but there is no shame in just winning on Slam - many many top players will never get close.

She’s injured. This is her first proper year on the tour and it’s clearly impacting on her body.

Why are people so desperate to write her off, she’s only 19?

Didn't Andy Murray suffer injury after injury in his first years on the tour? Once he became stronger he developed into a World Class player and winner of 3 Grand Slams and an Olympic Gold Medal. Hopefully Emma Raducanu can go onto similar things.

yep and I’m sure back then there was a young buck called zzz (only 3 cos he was only young) saying that junior US Open title he won came to soon😉

The womens game is much different to the mens game, in particular now. Women win a slam and tend to fall away and at some point re-emerge. Just tends to be more competitive and you need to be in form for tournaments

it's clearly a fitness issue with her, she's constantly battled injury. If she can get beyond them, then she's a different player
