Raducanu!!!

Didn't Andy Murray suffer injury after injury in his first years on the tour? Once he became stronger he developed into a World Class player and winner of 3 Grand Slams and an Olympic Gold Medal. Hopefully Emma Raducanu can go onto similar things.
He certainly did, and fitness issues in general, I remember him barfing at the US Open when he was struggling with stamina. HE needed to beef hid body up for grueling matches in a grueling season

She could probably do with taking a break and concentrating more on building her fitness.

I think part of the "problem" is after the US open win boosted her ranking she's now straight into the main draw for some tournaments she might not have been otherwise. She also has that ranking to try and maintain. Hard to turn the opportunities down as a rookie. If she was 27 and well established I doubt she'd be entering them with some of her injury issues.

It's a balance, the experience of playing in these tournaments is no doubt very valuable, but her body clearly isn't up to the rigour of playing this amount of tennis yet. I think people just need to be patient, the talent is there.

If I was her or one of her team I'd be talking a lot to Murray. As others have said he had similar issues and yet by the time he reached his peak he was one of the fittest on tour.

My take on it is that her injuries could also be stress-related. As we know, a lot of sporting performance is powered by the mind (McClaren had Bill Beswick for this) and it could be that the injuries are down to tension that comes from all the noise about her and hitting the big time quite young. When you're the wildcard, you go out and enjoy it and it's the thrill of the adventure that powers you on, I suppose, but now there's expectation (probably most of it comes from her). You don't win a Grand Slam and be mentally weak so I imagine Raducanu will come through it all, but she's probably still adapting to situations that she's never really encountered before.
