I will be. Deep Tan sound interesting as well. The Chats were excellent live when I saw them a couple of years ago, so if I was going I'd be heading there early.

Thinking of doing Way out West next summer also. Have you done it before? Worth a visit?Enjoy tonight guys - very jealous.
Edge taken slightly off it by the fact they're headlining Way Out West so I'll be seeing them in a park in Gothenburg next Summer although I'm sure it won't beat the globe!
We really enjoyed it, set up takes some getting used to.Thinking of doing Way out West next summer also. Have you done it before? Worth a visit?
See they opened with Avon, a pleasant surprise!Thought they were decentish tonight. About a third brilliant songs, about a third good to really good but about a third a bit nondescript. Don't know many of their songs so maybe that didnt help.
Enjoyed the show though. Deep Tan were ok and Chats really good. Its amazing though how much clearer the sound becomes for the main band. IF QOTSA or their management worry about getting blew offstage by the supports it really is time for them to quit.
Not a huge fan of the Globe although it is great for watching bands but toilets and bar facilities let it down.
All in all a decent night. Had a far better day on Saturday but enjoyed tonight as well.
On the down side. From where I stood every time I looked stageward at J.H I had vision of Keir Starmer leading the band. Will have nightmares about that for a while![]()
