Private Number Plate

I see it in Nunthorpe Marton area. I saw a glossy shiny silver Range Rover yesterday with a private number plate, I thought it was a great bit of fun.
 
I bought a new car, I had to pay first registration... for just £25 extra... I could get a personalised one, so I did & that has now been on 2 cars... for over 20 years... though was once asked for my registration number & couldn't recall it :-D ( I wasn't expecting to be asked )

It's not the best reg, though ok... the one I hoped for, with a 4 or an 8 (for an A) would have cost several £100's & the one I wanted - full surname from a 1964 old London council works van... went for several thousand at auction... Birminham based doctor I think it was...

My thinking also was - as it's old style reg plate - it will be more noticible once all old plates are gone...
 
You can say that about anything, It depends what you want though, why not buy the cheapest phone possible instead of an expensive iphone

I would sooner buy Gary Hamiltons Camerons players top tat a week in Tenerie, its all relative

Completely agree. I wish I never threw out literally 100s and 100's of programmes plus far too many footy mags out when I was married.

Still prefer a week in Tenerife though
