Too many of them are. Anyone who's aim is to become a politician usually ends up like that. The people that we want leading us is people that are politician because that is the way to influence the change needed to achieve what they believe in. There are far too many of them that are there because they want to be a politician and they will flit from one situation to another like a carrier bag in a breeze.

@MolteniArcore is bang on. Once they have ruined their reputation as a serious politician (and not just politician because Fox, Barton, Hopkins etc are the same) they know that their income is going to be far higher by selling to the loony conspiracists than it will by any other method. They don't even have to believe any of it themselves, just sell the message convincingly. Most former PMs can command high fees for their place on boards and giving talks etc to serious businesses but the sort of person that can't beat a lettuce doesn't have many of those offers.

That's always blew my mind how he gets onto that.. is he trying to get at something else.. like a read between the lines sort of thing?

Shapeshifting being a sort of Psychopathic characteristic and the Lizard thing being something to do with Heraldry? Like certain family crests will have some sort of Lizard or Dragon or something on?

I went to see one of his talks and some of the stuff he was saying about the visible universe and perception was quite interesting.. then how large institutions can have a detrimental effect on society and how the general population can come to hard when these big governments move for their own advancement without any thought for people and unnecessary deaths of innocent people in war... THEN HE JUST GOES OF A CLIFF INTO ABSOLUTE CRAZY CRAZY LAND and you just end up sat there going WTF is he going on about!

Interesting chap.. very varied career.. and some cool shell suits. Had it spot on with Jimmy Saville.. but then he says some very unnecessary and frankly bizarre stuff. I wonder if he is pandering to a certain type of audience or whether it is all some sort of joke designed to lure people in and keep people talking in order for him to sell more shows.

Quite a charismatic speaker.. but then.. the other stuff.

A bit like Morrissey I guess.. I like his work.. but I don't agree with a lot of what he says.

How can people like her and Trump and Farage and Bannon get a platform?

How did it get like this. It never used to be so. You only ever saw such fantasists shouting on street corners or stood on wooden boxes talking to themselves. Ahhhh, t'internet.

Another MAGA playbook excerpt, when things don't go your way, the "Deep State" must be responsible because there simply isn't any other reason is there...

Remember when he had Cameron. We thought he was terrible.

Then we got May who was even worse.

Boris made her look like a decent politician.

Liz now makes Boris look like a pretty decent PM (Bork).

Sunak is just weak as **** but slightly more sane than Truss. He’s utterly clueless though.

It’s been a sh** spiral for The Tories. We’ve got a long road back after 13 years of awful Governance.

For all the right wing love to rail against political correctness, woke politics, diversity et al, they are the most fragile people on the planet. Toddlers are more robust humans than this lot.
Face it Liz, you gained power on the back of fooling a load of old racists into selecting you ahead of Sunak and then, once given power you implemented a set of policies designed to enrich your mate's at the expense of the populace. When it all went títs up and the grift was exposed you were booted out and you didn't like it. Suck it up sweetheart, there's a place in hell alongside Thatcher waiting for you as well as a spot at the bottom of the league table of PM's. Take solace that you managed to be worse than the nuggets who came directly before and after you.

The worst thing for me is how folks who vote Conservative kick off aggressively.. and then when you point out that they are incorrect they say it’s just their opinion. lol

Exactly this.

She is a woman who will pivot to anything to keep herself relevant (in her own eyes). A formal Liberal Democrat, who made a speech stating so away with the Monarchy. She ends up being a Tory MP, and a fairly moderate one.

Back remaining in the EU, but when that goes against her, she turns into the looniest Brexit supporter of them all, just to keep in Johnson’s government. This leads her to Tufton Street, where she’s adopted the NeoCon / Libertarian ideology of the likes of the Koch Brothers. That got her in the PM job when Johnson inevitably got kicked out. Her PM lasted 50 days, so now she’s gone all Trump talking about deep state.

She is nuts.
