PM admitted to hospital

Talking to a friend earlier who reckons this is a perfect scenario for Johnson to do what in end he always does. Run away. While I would want him to get through this, would not put it past him have a get out. He's way out of his depth on this. He's considered a liability now anyway. Done what he was put there for, to get a majority. If it happens.
Would it be the "plausibility vacuum"in a suit..Gove taking over.

Remember Johnson will do anything to get and retain power because he is a pathological lying degenerate - which is not a political statment. Every move he makes is to play his audience to that one end - power.

Hancock and (god help us) Raab will now take the full **** storm as ten or twenty thousand die n the next couple of weeks.

i dont have much good to say about johnson but i certainly dont wish this sh.it on him. its obvious that it is serious because being the PM, these 'tests' could easily be done in private, I would guess.
I hope he fully recovers and the experience inspires some humility and empathy to the rest of us in the country who werent born with a silver spoon in their mouths.

A fine sentiment, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

He's a man with blood on his hands. But failure to have compassion for a fellow human being would be poor form.... even if they are a ****.
As I said earlier. There was someone here
where I live who died recently. Who I could not mourn. Johnson is different to me. He is someone who deserves my normal response. Which is a more humane one. I hope he recovers.

However dark humour is always with me. If this was a tv show he would have been making this up to get sympathy.

My thoughts go to his family, this is honestly horrible but How can you read that and not understand how misleading you're being ?? Honestly.

He had sepsis was seriously unwell and had been for 3 weeks.

Sepsis is awful. I know people who have died from it and people who have recovered. It’s touch and go, but usually kills quickly. Discover it in time and most recover. Why do you think covid-19 which at its most dangerous is, like sepsis, an overreaction of the body’s immune response, was not the deciding factor?

The weight of responsibility on a Prime minister and a health secretary at this time would be enough to break most mortals. Knowing that the decisions you make could mean the deaths of hundreds or thousands of people and hang over your conscious for the rest of your life.

It matters nothing the politics of a leader right now. Or your own politics.
When history is examined and the mistakes made examined in future years I hope no one is scape goated from this.

i wish him and all others a speedy recovery, it was foolish to shake those hands and brag about it but i woukdnt wish it on anyone. it says precautionary so hopefully he will be ok

Some idiots on this thread

someone health is deteriorating and people are having cheap shots and trying to score politically

couldn’t bring myself to vote Tory, but surely as he’s the leader of this country surely everyone wishes the man a speedy recovery

'Johnson is in hospital due to arrogance and stupidity'

God knows how you've come to that conclusion Lefty. Really poor (n)

He went around shaking hands with people who he knew had the virus. That is stupidity. He didn’t listen to the majority of scientific and medical advice and the experiences of other countries, but made a deliberate choice to believe that which appealed most to his mindset. He thought he knew better. He presumably, with a pregnant girlfriend in his house, thought he couldn’t catch it or pass it on. That’s arrogance.

As for all those bellends saying I’ve reached a new low, tell me why?

What did I write that was so offensive to you?
