I’m aghast at the board today primarily because of the venom manifesting on this site . I rather stupidly thought fmttm had rid itself of the sixth former like political angst that has now morphed on this new site from the old .

My feeling is that this board is not perfect. However there seems to be less trolling and political spats than before. Given the current natural focus on massively unexpected events.

Well, given the polarity of the last year or two, it isn't entirely surprising. All I would suggest that you do is maintain your own dignity. Some people might have very good reason to be angry with Boris Johnson.... deaths in their own family for instance. when people have anger, they can say cruel things .... I've seen people burying their own parents with anger in their hearts.

Maybe we should just forget our political leanings at the moment and remember it’s a man with kids, and a family who will be pretty worried about him right now - there are thousands of other families going through the same trauma all over the world

I feel great, they’ve put me on a heparin/oxygen mix as a trial, it’s worked in a few cases to rid the trace of the virus out of the respiratory system. Just taking forever. Not great being in an isolation room in a foreign country with nothing but my phone for company

I've just been looking at the stats for people who go into icu with corono. It's bleak reading. It's basically 50/50.
