Play offs still on?

The playoffs were never off. You don’t write seasons off in October. We’ve got some good players and the team looks confident and organised. I’ve already made arrangements for the Wembley weekend.
I have also made arrangements for the Playoff final.
Central line to Bond Street
Jubilee Line to Wembley Park Station.
I have started saving as the travel costs will be about £11.

Off course the Play Offs are still on, there's 25 games still to go. Of the teams above us only the top 3 and Coventry have more points than us from the last 5 games (i.e. the start of the Michael Carrick Era). QPR, Swansea, Reading and Luton are in a poor run especially QPR. So there are only 4 teams in reasonable form between us and a play off position. Of those Coventry look the most difficult to catch as they also have 2 games in hand. But we definitely can close that gap if we can continue to play as we are.

Next game will be a stern test but they just need to keep momentum. Jan transfer window will be interesting.
Absolutely capable of llay offs and possibly automatic. UTB

We are just about in the mix now. Next six or so games will give a clearer picture.

They have done exceptionally well. There always was a good side in there. We just weren't getting to see it.

Autos are out of the question imho. We won't make up 11 points over all ten teams, currently above us, to finish 2nd.
Plays off are possible now. Even though that looked a forlorn hope not so long ago.

I don't see us losing many if any games. Out season will come down to how many we win. If we find a way to beat Burnley next week then I think the players will think anything is possible. And that's the key. What do they think they can do. Carrick is key to this. He's a winner. You can tell he changes things mid game to get us over the line. That is special.

Need at least 52 points in 24 games to have an outside chance of auto.

So whats that 16 wins, and 4 draws and 4 defeats? That would be some run. That would still need one of those top two to blow up, say only get 40 points in 24 games. Carrick would have a 66% win rate and be off to be Real Madrids next manager if he did that.

Play offs probably 43 points....12 wins, 7 draws, 7 defeats. That's more doable. That's still a 50% win rate for Carrick this season and would be normally seen as damned good form.
