Phil Foden

I sincerely hope Southgate doesn't opt to go with wing-backs. We have so much attacking talent, so need to play to our strengths. Go into the tournament with the aim of trying to outscore the opposition. We need to build the team around Foden and start him and Grealish together. They should compliment each other so well.

I'd be happy with this kind of setup;

.............................Pope...........................

Wan Bissaka...Stones...Maguire...Shaw

...................Henderson....Rice.................

Sterling................Foden..............Grealish

..............................Kane............................

433 for me.

Pope

AWB or Trent ( Trent been average this season)
Stones
Maguire
Shaw

Rice
Mount
Foden

Sterling
Kane
Grealish

Would like to see James Justin called up aswell. Unbelievable this season and can cover both full back positions

Whatever Southgate (or any England manager for that matter) does, they have to build the team that suits Foden and prioritise Foden.

He is the one player we have that I genuinely believe can become World Class.

He's won the World Cup for the England U17s. He also won the golden ball in that tournament.

And with each passing game, he's getting better and better.

There's no surprise even at 20 years old that Pep plays him in City's biggest games now.

Smith-Rowe is some prospect also. Would be good to see him selected for the Euros but we have so much attacking talent it's unlikely.

Yeah he’s class. One touch footballer. Eze too. Options are scary really I just wish he had a class deep lying centre mid

I can't wait for the Euros now.

Though hopefully this Scottish sporting renaissance is over by June, as we'd never live down a loss to them at Wembley in a major tournament.

We are now in a unique position of playing the Euros and WC in back to back years.

Should we regard the Euros as a building exercise for the WC, or treat the Euros with the same importance that we would a WC?

Of course the same importance. To be honest I’m more excited for the Euros than the Christmas World Cup. Shame fans probably won’t be at Euros as it’s practically a home tournament. Euros will be class.

Would be happier if England boycotted the World Cup, so I would absolutely place more importance on the Euros.

Especially with the opportunity to win an international trophy at Wembley.

He looks pretty good all right. Hopefully will continue to develop and can produce on the international stage.

Worthy mention for Ward-Prowse and Maddison also. We've got some great players going into back-to-back tournaments. It's just a shame France, Germany and Portugal all have great squads too! ;)
