Partygate

Even if he wins a VONC he will be toast. His authority eroded, distrust as to who voted to back him or sack him.

He'll not last more than a couple of months if he wins the VONC.

Useless info.
Theresa May, who Johnson removed to get the job, lasted as Prime Minister for 1,106 days.

Boris Johnson is currently on 1,042.
So, it’s possible to wreck a country in a 1000 days.

In the six years since they got their Brexit the Conservatives have gone through David Cameron, Theresa May and Boris Johnson as Prime Ministers and in terms of Brexit negotiators they've had David Davis - insisted on unicorns - resigned, Dominic Raab - insisted on unicorns - resigned, Stephen Barclay - insisted on unicorns - voted against own motion - resigned, David Frost - insisted on unicorns - resigned and now Liz Truss who is insisting on unicorns. We have created a Minister for Brexit Opportunities who so far hasn't found any. We have a Northern Ireland Assembly paralysed and unable to function because of the Brexit deal.

The only way they seem to be able to think of to get Brexit to function the way they thought it would, the way they promised, the way they believed (but were warned it couldn't), is to break the law. To break agreements we signed up to. To actually legislate to break the law.

You'd think this would be a clue to everyone that Brexit was a stupid idea, but no, still there are people who voted for it who think it's not Brexit that is stupid, just the people implementing it. The people who led the campaigns advocating it. Who they listened to.

Jesus that's really scraping the bottom of the barrel.
It's brutal to be honest. Bordering on stupidity for most of them.

I wonder how many Mail and Express readers would be equally as delighted with these ideas if an under qualified agency driver runs his oversize, over weight van through a farmers market killing ten of them, or they were electrocuted at work by an overpowered and un-PAT tested Hoover.

Truly desperate stuff.

I doubt half of that stuff is even EU-related. Vacuum cleaner power rating yes, but I seem to remember that fracking (at least tests) were drilled while we were in the EU.

Bunch of brexiteer idiots who will cheer along as their employment rights and environmental and safety standards are taken away.
