I just got a text message out of the blue on Wednesday and I am late 50s, responded by text for a date and time I wanted. I am getting sent to a GP surgery, there are closer centres to me, including a special Vacc Centre which is a bit frustrating. At least I should get a medical person opposed to some Capita bod on Zero hours contract who has just been trained up.

When I booked a few times the slot was gone by the time I completed, just persevere.

Same issues here. I managed by going for a later slot in the available list as people generally go for the first one.

Called 119 today after receiving an NHS text. The closest available centre was Newcastle.
He said they are aware of a shortage of places in the Teesside area, and that they hope to resolve this by the end of the week.
I'll keep trying my luck online.

The Riverside should be available as a mass vaccination centre by the middle of this month. That's what I read in the Gazette anyway.

Managed to get booked in for my first one next week

If it's offering you options miles away (was originally Leeds/ Newcastle for me) keep refreshing the page as new venues come up all the time. Getting it done in Acklam.
