I predict we will finish 8th, rarely, if ever, flirting with the play offs, I also predict we will finish this season with a new head coach and around mid March 2023, we will get a rallying cry promising 2023/24 will have the kitchen sink thrown at it. Top scorer Muniz with 18 goals, then Crooks with 8, Watmore 8, Forss and McGree 5.

It's so disappointing because at one point last season I said that I could see so many parallels between Karanka and Wilder, I said that I believed we would be pushing for automatic promotion the following season.

Something just hasn't felt right at the club for some time now, and the way this transfer window has ended has just been another kick in the teeth.

14th. everything Was in place then Tav was sold. Instead of being proactive, Boro dicked around and got one midfielder when we needed two before the Tav sale. We have strikers Wilder doesn’t want to play and some very strange on field decision making leading to Boro having a terrible defensive record. On the plus side, we’ve played some great football at times and may turn over a few teams. So close to being a great side but urinated away again.

If any of Mowatt, Howson or Crooks miss even a couple of games the midfield for those games will be poor to say the least and if 2 were out at the same time then it would be a shambles.

I'm pleased with the team and transfer window as a whole, however I worry about how we're gonna deal with any injuries or suspensions with 4 midfielders covering 3 positions. Such a shame we couldn't get just one defensive mid over the line. Will be shipping plenty of goals by the looks of it.
