Mid table with this squad. Play offs if we can stay in the top half until January window and get the players we need.
 
It may be stating the obvious, but we need to take more of the chances we make and stop making stupid blunders in defence.

Having missed out on yesterday’s deadline may give us opportunities to give most of the players we recently signed to blend
together.
 
Best this squad can reach is 7th-10th.
It could get sucked into a relegation issue if there is a bust up within the club.
I reckon 9th-14th so am close to taking your bet Laughing.

If we have a striker finishing with 18 goals and another striker and midfielder almost in double figures, we will be in the playoffs comfortably.
 
I think overall we are stronger than last season, on paper at least and I also think the league isn't as strong overall as last season too, so by that measure I'd say we should be in and around the play off spots, but the next 6 games will give us a good idea whether that's realistic or not.

Please do, wherever we finish a charity is 100 pound better off. If you win you name the charity, if I win I name the charity?

For clarity you may want to look at the top 6 odds before taking the bet. The odds suggest we will finish in a playoff place never mind 10 or below. However it is for charity.

This league is bonkers. Look at Reading's current position for example.

As @NZBoro1 alludes to though, the players know what's required now. Time for us to back the manager and the players and become that twelfth man home and away and help get the team up the league.

The window is shut, players have come and players have gone. It's time to stop the bickering and accusations and back the team.

Clubs with poorer squads than ours have been promoted before.
