Will be interesting to hear it. I liked the first HFB album but wasn't too keen on Who Built The Moon. I respect Noel for not being afraid to experiment but I got the impression that he labelled it "cosmic pop" in an attempt to make the material seem more interesting, when in reality they were a collection of weak songs, given fancy production to mask their shortcomings. The snippets that have been released so far suggest some acrimonious feeling. I've been listening to Noel's podcast with Matt Morgan the last few years and it was clear during the peak of covid etc that all was not well. This stopped last summer sometime, presumably around the time they decided to split. I imagine the divorce was agreed months ago and is only coming out now before his album launch gets going.
The bonus track Dead on the Water, a stripped-back acoustic song was probably better than all the album tracks, which is when Noel is at his best as a songwriter and performer in my opinion.
