Interesting how she and her husband are being monstered by the press and then investigated in front of a baying crowd, isn’t it.

Yes That’s the ultimate ironyThey do and they are wrong, the SNP are historically a right wing party.
Eh ????Well this is weird. Arrested, house searched, garden searched then released without charge on the same day. Something is off here. Scot Polis colluding?
All the Scottish people I know who support the SNP, are certainly not right wing.Yes That’s the ultimate irony
Something doesn't feel right. To go to this effort and then release him without charge on the same day. Either it was a performance by the police or they fecked up really, really badly when it seems they were sure they would find incriminating evidence.Eh ????

I think they must have had enough to put the performance on.Something doesn't feel right. To go to this effort and then release him without charge on the same day. said in the best Taggart impersonation. MurrrdorOn the news the house looked like a murder scene.
It wasn't to secure evidence from financial crimes you confiscate computers, remove ledgers, follow digital trails. You don't need to make the house look like a murder scene. No doubt this was staged to make it look a whole lot worse than it is.Financial crime is an absolute nightmare to investigate and is totally reliant on paper trails usually. The arrest and release is not unusual… they have little evidence to go on from a few hours of questioning.
This was purely about securing anything and everything linked to him so that the financial crimes team can go through it all and then bring appropriate charges if required.
It could take months or even years to find what they need.
Please dont tell me your feeling sorry for the wee krankie. Maybe they were looking for physical cash under the patioIt wasn't to secure evidence from financial crimes you confiscate computers, remove ledgers, follow digital trails. Not really related to the current crisis, but there's another example of this great leadership that people are so happy to praise in this thread.
They do and they are wrong, the SNP are historically a right wing party.
But wanting independence is a right wing philosophy in my opinion.
I don't care about her. I care about the way the regime in this country is being ran. Please dont tell me your feeling sorry for the wee krankie. Maybe they were looking for physical cash under the patio
I'm not sure I understand the link you've included there. What does it have to do with Sturgeon?
Or 1980s Colombia.I don't care about her. I care about the way the regime in this country is being ran.
And no, they aren't "looking for cash" under the patio. Unless they are investigating this financial crime in the 1700s

Just a ridiculous policy introduced under her leadership.
Old enough to vote at 16, but also deemed not fully accountable for commiting crimes until you're 25.
But its a guideline from an independent body isn't it? Thats what your link says. The Scottish Sentencing Council.
Fair enough the votes at 16 bit is the SNP.
Your link literally says:A body set up by the SNP, and the Scottish government surely decides whether the recommendation would be accepted in to law or not.
They decided that it was fine.
New sentencing guidelines for under 25s come into force
The new "individualistic approach" makes rehabilitation rather than punishment a primary consideration.www.google.com
SNP ‘soft-touch’ justice means criminals will be young offenders up to age 25
The Scottish Sentencing Council (SSC), which put together the guidance, said it accounted for the supposed “immaturity” of under 25's brainswww.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk
Now people are getting community service for repugnant crimes.
