NFL - The new season approaches!

Just watched it wow what a win

Thought they’d blown it in the 4th and 2 play but fair play

Roll on rogers and the jets on Monday night

It's a big ask for the Packers and Love IMHO; they didn't make the playoffs with AR, so it's a lot to ask Love to do better than an all time great in his first full season.

In their favour, it doesn't look a great division, but the Lions getting it done last night must prompt some concern?
I think AR was a bit chalk and cheese last season and contributed to the season ending the way it did. His move is the best thing for everyone concerned. He wasn't happy with the last few drafts (who can blame him) and most of his go to guys spent a lot of time on the injured roster. The defence couldn't handle the pressure of a failing offence and it all just imploded really despite the division being very poor! I am just hoping we still have something to play for towards the end of the regular season and looking forward to seeing how we transition...Lions just about getting it done 😁

Looking forward to the Packers and Bears game this weekend. There is no love lost between the 2 sets of fans, and Bears fans feel this could be their year to finally get one over the cheeseheads.

I’ve followed the NFL since the 80’s initially following Dan Marinos Dolphins. I showed an interest in the Browns for obvious reasons. However when Channel 4 lost NFL and it moved to Sky, I only ever watched the Super Bowl. You don’t really follow a team then but lend your support to one of the teams.

Fast forward to 2017 and I switched TV from Virgin to Sky. As I got a good deal for Sports, I started watching NFL again as I was becoming disillusioned with “soccer”.

I never really had a team, but nearly went for the Vikings with purple being my favourite colour. Anyway, as this is where my memory may be a bit flaky, The Packers were playing, 49ers I think, and we were one score down with not long left. In the space of 2 minutes, Rogers had moved the ball down from our 5/10 yard line to a touchdown and I just thought “wow”. The rest is history, though I probably became a Rogers fan before a Packers.

Now AR has left I’m still a Packers fan. They are in my blood now. While I’m not confident about this season, as long as we end up above the Bears with a winning record I’ll be happy.

I've watched NFL for a bout 8 years now. When I first started watching I did one of those online quizzes "Which NFL team should I support?". It came back with the Bears. So I started following them. I soon realised they played absolute dogshit football and have done since then. They are still my team and are always the first score I look for but I generally pick a more competative team each season to follow as well. Usually based on a player I'm interested in. I had a couple of seasons following the Cardinals because Murray was exciting to watch.

Hopefully Fields can kick on this season and help make the Bears more competative. I'm slightly more optimistic than I have been in recent seasons. The NFC North is very competative though and any one of the teams could win it. Detroit probably being the strongest.

My second team this season is going to be the Titans. I think they could go well and I've also drafted Derrick Henry in the fantasy league.

The atmospheric conditions currently seem to have reduced my internet connection to a snails pace which means I can’t stream anything at the minute (probably luckily given the cricket score).

I’ll be severely p****d off if it doesn’t improve by 6PM as I’ve waited 9 months for my Sunday NFL binge to come back.

Finesse 49ers rolling the Pittsburg defense out of existence in the first half. Steelers only have 2 yards of offense so far. It’s gonna be a very long day for Steeler fans.

Have to admit I was wondering if B Purdy was going to be on the mark today as far as confidence and maybe fitness but definitely dispelled those concerns with a top class performance. I don’t necessarily think that Bosa was quite up to speed with his fitness but he played nearly every down. As for the Steelers they were very poor in the first half and despite getting a TD late in the second quarter they were no match for the Niners.

Washington......WIN.

Tried their hardest to find a way to throw it away, but P4 W4 under the new owners😁😁
