I doubt Emery had ever heard of him tbh. They are going for champions league and even though I rate Rogers he aint getting anywhere near the Villa team. They are doing a City and bulking up their rota with players theywill loan out for a fee for championship clubs to develop, then charge a premium fee to a newly promoted team for doing bot all.

Even if we don’t even consider offers in Jan and tell clubs to come back in the summer, it still shows we’re a good club to come to for young players

I think there's already plenty of evidence that our current management/coaching team are improving players technically and also getting the best out of them.
