New improved rogers bid

3 bids in 48hrs. They definitely want him. Also will almost certainly get him. Reported around initially 4-5mil. That's with City getting 20%

That's hardly 'worth it'. I imagine it may get to upwards of 8-10mil. That's probably with a variety of ad ons. So we won't be getting that figure up front.

Hopefully we will add a sizeable sell on clause / England cap etc.

I guess it's exactly what our new business model wants. Buy young players on the cheap and 'flip' for a massive profit. This has probably come quicker than we expected. Rav will be the next one 😔

Romano reporting Rodgers wants the move, if he wants to go let him, but they have to match our asking price or **** off.
They aren't buying him to play him, they are buying him to loan out and sell on after a season on loan. I hope he knows which club he's getting loaned to, looks like another Djed Spence type move to me. Difference is I'd prefer to keep hold of Rogers.

For them to keep coming back we must be giving them some encouragement, so I do think he will probably go.

Today’s match got me thinking something slightly different about Roger’s value. Even if we could get another player in with similar potential, recent experience has shown it could take 6 months plus for them to bed into the team, style of play etc… eg azaz we probably won’t see the best of until next season. If we offload too quickly we’ll never be able to build any consistency.

For me that fact alone pushes his value to us to more than like £15m. Reality is he’s currently a £4/£5m player at best but we have to hold firm on valuation.
