How can he rant about everyone else and then big up Gibson ? Surely if he's not getting what he wants Gibson is involved too ? Sour grapes and trying to keep Boro fans onside. Has had enough money for players just didnt spend it wisely. Don't tell me Ikpeazu and Crooks are anything other than his signings.

He seems to let the manager of the day run the club. Pulis certainly claimed to be running all aspects of the club including finances. And that after he had been publicly humiliated by a judge.

Well obviously Bauser and his little recruitment team clique. As I've said earlier Warnock may have told them a few home truths and they closed shop. Who hasn't complained about the recruitment team over the last several years? It's the only thing that hasn't changed over our barren period until the appointment of Scott who hasn't been here long enough yet to make the changes necessary. It remains to be seen if he is able to shake up the team or gets dragged down to their level.

What was the point in giving warnock anything to spend when he would have left next summer ? Also would have only brought in "good lads" that he'd had 10 years ago !

Yes ok we have brought players in, but not necessarily the choices that NW wanted and he has mentioned players that the club failed to get. That is what he is getting at. I don't wish ill on NW, we have struggled with injuries and players at times being very inconsistent. He kept us in the champo, got rid of some rubbish and that is what he will be remembered for.
We got rid of the old recruitment team last season. New head of recruitment has been in place a year or so, Scott came in the summer. We’re doing things differently which doesn’t fit the old school manager approach. Surprised we’ve not gone for a head coach this time.
