Muniz

Yes I thought exactly that tonight this should lad have been Ours from the off.

Instead he’s just passing through.
I guess non of us knew how good he was until he landed in the UK. But you can see now why NW wasn’t too pleased. He clearly wanted him. Looking at the lad, he’s well worth the £8m or so Fulham paid for him. Strong, skilful, elegant. Great touch. Wins his physical battles almost every time and knows where the back of the net is. Hopefully Fulham stay up and we can get him on a perm. Best we’ve had in a long time.

Warnock was the reason we never signed he wanted keifer Moore so we delayed on Muniz.

We could have got him for like £4m!

Saddest thing is.. I think he is the perfect Neil Warnock type striker. A traditional British number 9

I thought he’d said in his presser when we didn’t get him. He said we are disappointed the lad has chosen Fulham. He looked gutted

Edit. Sorry you meant he was second choice. Yeah. That looked like it cost us dearly

Interesting this isn't it. Half the other threads on the board are critical of this set up where the club's team identify players rather than the manager. Whereas this is one where we're lamenting the manager for not listening to them. Maybe they do actually know a bit what they're looking for.

We could have two more great strikers sitting around doing nothing in Hoppe and Forss.

Ellis Simms - Loan - Blackburn
Kion Etete - £540k - Cardiff

Would have been better off with them two.

I thought they would be a good idea.. time will tell on Etete!!

I'm confident he will be one of our most important players this season but he frustrated me last night.

He managed to get in behind down the right side just before half time and had loads of space but for some reason went backwards and then tired to play the ball through to somebody and it went behind for a goal-kick.

I did enjoy his piece of skill though at the start of the 2nd half.

Because a high % of Boro fans will always say what hasn't happened should have, and what has happened shouldn't have in an attempt to give the impression they know what they're talking about.

The amount of people saying they want Bauser sacked when they don't even know what his role is, or the restrictions he's working under is alarming. Yea lets just sack someone because he's s**te at I'm not sure what. That'll make things better.

VAR would’ve potentially given it although this is exactly what is wrong with the game today
Muniz waits for a touch and really if at the other end we’d be livid with the other player who did that really
That's not even true. He was on his way down when the contact happened. It was a clear dive. And he was outside the box so at best would have been a free kick.

No chance it was a penalty. Nothing happened in the game so Sky needed something to talk about.
