Morsy - bang average?

bang average is better than we have now in that position. Saville was also a very decent experienced championship midfielder, and hasnt been really been replaced
 
He was average after a bright start (usually the case once the honeymoon period is over) sending off always likely,
 
He wasn't brilliant, but as yet I have seen no evidence that the fella we got in to replace him is an upgrade.....so for me at the moment we should have kept him and not bothered with JLS.
 
I wonder why Morsy has ended up in league one.

He seems to become the answer to our problems more and more every week. But when he was here not many were saying he should be first on the team sheet.

I don’t really remember much about him. Which says it all considering people think he was an “engine room” type player.

You’d forget he was playing until you saw the ref card him for scything down a player who had strolled past him.
 
Ipswich offered more money than Championship clubs were willing to pay according to posters on here.

Morsy was a Ronseal type championship player who would normally would reduce the effectiveness of the opposition. He was not special but useful and proven.

Lea Siliki may prove better but it will take some time and have we got that time?
 
Probably as good as clayton once his legs had gone. We should have got rid of him and howson and bought one decent defensive midfielder. Siliki doesnt look like a holding midfielder to me.

Once again getting rid of players and not replacing them.
 
If a championship club wanted him they could have out priced ipswich. I guess there just wasn’t the desire.
 
Poor overall in the championship, limited, back to a level where he can effective for a side aiming for promotion.

Based on your reasoning you could say the same about Tav and Fry last year who probably missed even more games through injury, are they also not much use and need moving on?
