Moore on way to Cardiff for a medical

Well if his hearts not in it good luck fella and b***r off . Gibbo's fingers are still scorched after the Gestede calamity .
Like already said he'll of wanted a mega contract . Err we've been there and done that - never again ...........NEXT

Agreed! He was fighting a losing battle under Pulis but I think he could be a totally different player under Warnock.

The more I think about it he’s the ideal signing. It’s just a case of whether we would be prepared to pay the chunk of his wages we were prepared to before. He’s a massive boro fan so would pick us over QPR I reckon but by all accounts he loved it there.

Totally agree mate
Scored less than Britt and Fletcher - in a team that scored more goals than Boro

I am more than happy for them 2 to stay and play a part as their record for Warnock was great. The only issue is the contract situation, if they aren’t staying after next season we might have to cash in on them. I would be prepared to offer Fletcher a new deal and If we get a bid for Britt it might have to be time to cash in. Can’t see us offering him a new deal with the wages he will be on

Wonder if it frees up a forward warnock likes at cardiff

He likes Glatzel. Only issue is he will be expensive, we were linked with him last season but Warnock pipped is. He was the fella who bagged a hattrick against us in pre season for that German side

Yes! The lad want's to play for us, is a handful, and has scored a few recent goals for QPR. I think he can do well if we get the crosses into the box for him

I agree and would have Hugill back but his wages and any fee, even a loan fee, would surely prove a stumbling block. It was reported we paid 2m last time for the loan (I know the press aren't always accurate, but it wouldn't be cheap).

Aye . I wouldn’t be doing it if we had to pay a loan fee like the reports last time. Surely West Ham at this point just want help with his wages? To expect any more without a club buying is just wishful thinking in my opinion. Certainly can’t see him getting sold. He will get loaned out probably for remainder of his contract on them wages

I think it could work if another striker was to be moved on - Assambalonga or flethcher

I'd sign Hugill permanently, myself.

2 years left on his contract but he's not going to get a look in at West Ham, and he can perform in the Championship.
I honestly think he'd do well under Warnock, just need the fans to start with an open mind.

Any way to scroll through this forum and find the Hugill posts from the season before last? The ones where many posters offered to drive Hugill back to West Ham and that he was a pub player and should be working at the Dickens Inn again!!

Going to Cardiff may be more lucrative but it also holds more attraction for a Welsh born player than Teesside.

i wasnt keen anyway. Yes rather have Hugill back.

I was always a fan but probably had the odd whinge about him like we all did. Looking back though it was hard for him with the teams Pulis put out. In fact it was almost impossible. At QPR he showed what he was about and if he could have a similar impact here in a Warnock team he would be really good imo.

He's from Devon and the extent of his Welshness is one grandad.
I think they'll just be offering more money and look a more likely promotion prospect.

I agree. But there was a hell of of a lot of people who didn't have a good word to say about him.
