Mogga sacked

We were top or certainly near top of the league one season under mogga running upto xmas then it all fell apart like it also did for him at Blackburn once the xmas decs came down

Im guessing the 2012/13 season upto 29th December our results dont look too bad then it all goes pete tong from new years day (1 win in 9 against Leeds of all teams)

We went six games without scoring a single goal in the championship under Karanka

Doncaster away I don't think either team had a shot on target.

I'm not really sure what your point is here?

We had 12 points in 12 games averaging 1.0 points at the beginning of that season under Mowbray. If you stretch it back from the 1st of January 2013 we had 24 points from 35 games which is 0.69 points/game and is certain relegation form. Gibbo gave him a chance to turn it round but he didn't. Well not enough anyway

In the remaining 34 games, under Karanka, we gained 52 points, averaging 1.53 points per game. He massively improved the results with largely the same squad.

You've hand picked a 6 game window in the middle of the season to try and make a point that he didn't do a good job? A bit odd. Should we hand pick the first 6 matches of this season and assess Carrick's time as manager based on these?

It's unbelievable the lengths people will go to try and prove Karanka wasn't a good manager when he is still the only one who has managed to get us promotion.

Just remember us being near the top, Mogga must have been doing something right up until New Years Day

Bruce Rioch, Lennie Lawrence and Bryan Robson also got us promoted in my time following the Boro? Its not exclusive to a certain Spaniard

I didn't say he didnt do a good job, 6 games without a goal just shows how negative our football was at the time

They never deserved a bloke like Mowbray, his Millwall post match interview showed his class, then they sacked him!
Awful wxnkers club top to bottom, deluded about their importance, revolving door staff, identity has always been nothing but stupid little brothers to Newcastle, complete chip-on-the-shoulder fans, giveaway Happy Meal match tickets, stupid deck chair shirt. Make my skin crawl...
