Mogga sacked

Interesting they maybe after a foreign coach/ manager, is agent Karanka available? Now that would be most welcome after his Forest and Birmingham failures. We can but dream 🤞

Let’s face it. Sunderland have overachieved since Tony took over. He even had the Boro supporters worried that they might go from Division One to the Premier League last year. Nobody fancied playing them in the Playoffs. Since then they have lost Ross Stewart and brought nobody in.

They lost diallo and Batth too and some other useful players such as Gooch and like Boro replaced them with inferior players

Apart from Dack how many of these players are proven Champo players? Similar to our signings in the summer

Saturday's Team

Apart from Burstow who is on loan from Chelsea and still waiting for his 1st Sunderland goal, where are the Summer signings?

There's been rumours since the summer that they've been looking at replacing him, so the first sign of a few bad results and he's gone. Not surprised really.

He worked wonders to get them in the top 6 last season and well see now whether their squad is a good as the owners obviously think it is.

Writing was on the wall after his post match interview Saturday. In a roundabout way criticised the "model" and the recruitment, whilst also implying he has been told certain players have to be selected. He's best off outta there!

Was at their game on Saturday with a Millwall season ticket holder, we bumped into a few Makems on the bus on the way back into town......they seriously think Graham Potter's in the running! Also mentioned Eustace, but is that really an upgrade on Mogga? It was clear from Saturday's display that a few players were going through the motions and Clarke was trying to take on the whole Millwall side...realy deserved to lose but Millwall gave away a daft penalty and missed some good chances.

Well let's put it this way, outside of deluded mackem land I don't think he's done his reputation any harm with the job he's done there.
I've had a look at the Mogga post on their site and they're anything but deluded. The vast majority think he's been very good for them, which he has been. They're talking about some of the best football they've seen at the SOL.

Same thing I did. Went onto RTG expecting a bunch of people slating him and ungrateful for what he'd done for them after reading this thread, but most people whose messages I read seemed to think it was a terrible move from the club and that he'd be missed.

yup there is even a Mogga appreciation thread on there with loads replies thanking him and stating what a good bloke he is

Amazing how many Boro fans have turned on Aitor. Boils my p1ss to be honest
Not sure many I know have? He did seem quite a divisive character with players and top brass though.

Ultimately Sunderland fans wouldn’t accept his Mourinho lite style of play now and I think like Mourinho, his tactics are outdated.

Every fanbase will have whoppers who think that change is the answer, even when the manager is doing a decent job.

Look at this clown from us:

I'm glad that plenty of Sunderland fans realise that he had them overachieving and was sold a pup this summer.
I read the first part hoping that this was posted in September. Not that it would have excused it fully but was more understandable. I can't believe that was posted yesterday
