Na we've been had pal. I was 26 when that article was written. Please let this happen.
Doncaster away I don't think either team had a shot on target. We were top or certainly near top of the league one season under mogga running upto xmas then it all fell apart like it also did for him at Blackburn once the xmas decs came down
Im guessing the 2012/13 season upto 29th December our results dont look too bad then it all goes pete tong from new years day (1 win in 9 against Leeds of all teams)
We went six games without scoring a single goal in the championship under Karanka

I'm not really sure what your point is here?
We had 12 points in 12 games averaging 1.0 points at the beginning of that season under Mowbray. If you stretch it back from the 1st of January 2013 we had 24 points from 35 games which is 0.69 points/game and is certain relegation form. Gibbo gave him a chance to turn it round but he didn't. Well not enough anyway
In the remaining 34 games, under Karanka, we gained 52 points, averaging 1.53 points per game. He massively improved the results with largely the same squad.
You've hand picked a 6 game window in the middle of the season to try and make a point that he didn't do a good job? A bit odd. Should we hand pick the first 6 matches of this season and assess Carrick's time as manager based on these?
It's unbelievable the lengths people will go to try and prove Karanka wasn't a good manager when he is still the only one who has managed to get us promotion.
SounessWonder who they've got lined up? I mean, it must be someone absolutely massive, given it's an absolutely massive club
Great article that.Tony Mowbray pays price for overachieving with Sunderland youngsters | Louise Taylor
Tony Mowbray was key in attracting players to Sunderland but he probably knew his time was coming to an endwww.theguardian.com
