Football fans were shat upon - as per usual
Point taken. But no official statement = hearsay.
So the match won't go ahead ever then? How many people have been fed from donations to the various football club foodbanks?
Are they not a worthy charitable cause?
And before you suggest people can donate elsewhere, remember that the same goes for all the donations for the GNR.
Having a focal point for the donations is the whole point.
Are football foodbanks a charitable cause or not?So the match won't go ahead ever then?
That's kind of what sponsoring for a fun run means mate. Someone puts in effort and training and does a tough thing, in order to earn the money for charity. Agreed most people would still donate but it kind of destroys the celebration of the effort put in to raise that money.I don't understand the GNR charity angle.
Are people genuinely saying that they would sponsor someone to do the GNR, and if it's cancelled then they'd say "no, you didn't run, so I'm keeping the money"?
