McGree was picked and started at WBA, he was our worst player that day by a country mile, often leaving his left hand side, chasing the ball like a school kid. was surprised he made the start of the 2nd half, but was rightly hooked by Carrick 10 mins later.
He hasn't started since, it's not an issue , if he gets another start, then he must improve from that game.

I don’t care about that as the season didn’t start at wba so why didn’t he play before then

McGree has proven time and time again he’s a quality player, he needs regular game time instead of barely playing and not being able to build up any form
 
Agree. McGree has his faults but he makes things happen around the final third - something we've sorely been lacking. Don't get it, most fans won't get it, and it seems to have emanated from the end of the window when there were rumours of a bid. Did he fall out with the management because he didn't get a move? The more results/performances continue to be dire while he's out the team, the more these conspiracies will be floated...

The only player not picked today who deserves to start, is Jones, the same player who replaced McGree at WBA and was our most creative player, He did more in 30 mins than McGree did all game.
Are you saying Carrick is wrong? he knows more than you and I., what a proper midfielder should be doing, McGree is very limited and often loses the ball in silly positions.

All this emotionally loaded "in" and "out" [of favour] crap is absolute ballax. Leave that to news media to create "stories".

These are grown men in a squad, all vying to get in the team. You cant play them all at once - its not in the rules. We have to suck it in. Get behind the lads and let them get on with it.
 
Has he not just returned from international duty? Not sure where they played but could be jet lag or didn’t get back till late… all could have part to play too

C'mon roofers we love a good conspiracy. I also like the use of Jedi's "clearly". It's not really all that clear to me. McGree hasn't done enough to be an automatic starter. You could easily argue that Jones deserves a start before McGree, clearly!

Historically, I think, there is never many goals between the teams. I would take a 1-0 right now. Clean sheet might be useful too.
