If we were in the premier and Chelsea were the next match, would you be drooling at the opportunity to see Mason Mount?

Jack is a far more interesting player in my opinion.

2 totally different players in different positions. Mount's a class act (as is Grealish)

He has been the best player for Chelsea and will be back in the team soon enough. I agree Abraham is not top 4 but he is a premier league striker.

Personally I do like to be entertained by the best players, it makes up for the squad players who are more workmanlike.

He is entertaining enough for me. He’s an outstanding footballer. He is a lot more than ‘workmanlike’ his touch and assist yesterday certainly entertained me.

I didn’t see the Chelsea match yesterday but fair play if he showed some class.

I’ve nothing against Mount and I hope he does the business for England. I do like Jack’s style of play though and I also think Foden is an outstanding talent.

Think you're getting a little carried away... I rate Mount but there was a huge gap for him to pass into and he had a clear site of the Havertz' run. I'd say most top 6 prem players should be picking that pass 9 out of 10 times.

As for your told you so attitude... Do you feel better now?

Finally removed by someone that knows what they’re doing. Him and Abraham are nowhere near good enough for a top 4 club or England. Hopefully Southgate will get him out of the team and play Maddison and Grealish.

Southgate loves him but I’d play grealish everytime before mount. Grealish just has reams of natural talent.

Top player who comes across as a decent lad too. He’s first choice in a midfield three for England. Or at least that’s what I’d select. Has to be 4-3-3 with the ridiculous amount of wide attacking players England have.

I think I prefer Grealish, but he's perhaps more of an impact sub to change things rather than a nailed on starter? (I think Mount is more likely to start).

Interesting to see people saying Grealish would be ahead of him if he was at a top six club like!

Mount has looked good for Chelsea recently but has looked pretty poor for a lot of this season for them and England IMO.

Also interesting is that some people are still saying Maddison should be playing for England in front of him.

Never had a problem with Mount, he's a good player, but Maddison should have been given another chance for England long before now, I'd say.

Our midfield hasn't exactly torn it up.

I can only assume that casino incident ***ed off Southgate too much.
