I can’t believe that this has continued. Some of the replies on this thread are laughable.

Just wear an effing mask you selfish pricks.

So, in summary. You’re going to complain about mental health but ignore the mental health of people who are anxious about being round none mask wearers. I guess you only care about mental health if it suits your argument

How am I ignoring it?

Show me a quote. For the umpteenth thousandth time I've already said I'll continue to wear a mask in venues where I'm asked to. I'd hazard a guess and say quite a lot will continue to ask the public to do so. Those worried about the loosening of restrictions come July 19th probably won't be visiting places like nightclubs or pubs as they won't have been visiting them anyways out of personal choice.
I don't understand what your issue is with that. Do you want everybody to wear a mask every time they leave the house? Maybes wear one to go swimming like Dr Hillary recommended on live TV a few months ago? Or listen to Phil and Holly wax lyrical about continuing to social distance and wear masks only for 5 hours later to completely **** all over what they've been preaching to nation.

Don't forget, all these restrictions and measures are in place for the "little people". If you are rich/famous/important/above your station they don't apply. 😎

Anyways too much time today devoted to covid discussion already today. Bigger and more important things are up for discussion, it's coming home.

This thread has legs, I can't help but think of Vic (30 seconds into the attached clip) when it comes to some people on here:

Peace and UTB (y)

Rob, i never went as low as questioning deafness and ecesema.
Didn't someone put a list of your name calling.

But to be fair you do have humility, you told me.
You have just gone as low as making up lies about me. Well done. try and be better. I made an appeal the other day to try and debate the issue and not just insult the person. Doing so make you look petty and small minded. Try and got back on track like the adults please.

You're not required to on public transport or in stores. Thus ignoring the mental health issue I raised.

QED
As I said some stores will probably continue to ask customers to wear them. Same with public transport companies.

It's "under control" in the same way we were sending £350 million a week to the EU instead of giving it all to the NHS.

Seems to be a lot of the same people believing both tall tales too. Who'd have thought?

"I want brexit but I can't really give you a good reason why"

"I'm going to refuse to wear a mask but I can't really give you a good reason why".

Still, democracy and that, so all is well.

A) I never believe you
B) 99.97% of the people on here, having questioned deafness and a skin condition would have apologised to the individual.
C) can you save me some time and find the list of your insults.
D) i admire your humility

A: another insult. Shame
B: It was an honest question. You blinkered desire to attack me has probable misinterpreted why I asked Laughing the question.
C: No
D: They say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.

I tried being nice, but here goes agin: Any chance you can address the issues rather than just attacking me personally. It makes you look small and petty, it derails the thread and it adds nothing. So give it one last go. If you're man enough. If you want to be a whiny idiot who just insults people rather than discussing issues than crack on. Just have a think about how it reflects on you first.

See above. I think you are a character, one of the best since Lucile Ball.

A socialist Tory voter. brilliant

I would have apologised as soon as I realised the question Was inappropriate.

So you just want to be personal. That's a damn shame. I don't understand why people want to be petty and small but hey it's you're prerogative.

So my original point stands

Self responsibility doesn't mean you do nothing because you aren't legally required to

There is a world of difference between (a) personal responsibility and (b) personal choice. I reckon most people hear (a) and do (b).

Yes, it's evident form this thread. People ignoring the health risk not wearing a mask poses. Just saying they won't wear one because they don't wanna. It's very dissapointing

You ignored the mental health issues I raised (twice) in relation to mask wearing and children.
They seemed so far fetched I thought you were joking. So here goes

4th Babies are being robbed of vital early sensory developments offered by actual, normal life.
How? There is no need for their parents to wear a mask in their own home, which is were pretty much where 95% of their development comes from. Likewise outside. I'm not sure how much developmental action happens to babies safely in a buggy in a store or on public transport. I doubt they will even see masks.
5th Children with anxiety, fear and panic attacks from mask wearing.
They don't have to wear masks. IN their own home and in open air they won't be wearing masks at all. The exposure children have to mask wearing will be minimal
6th Teenagers who can no longer bond and learn about social interaction at a critical life point.
How so? How do adults wearings masks stop this in any way?
