Pretty much my feelings entirely, the biggest disappointment is the funds wasted, that could have been used elsewhere, to better effect.

I would hate to think we don't try these signings now and again football is an entertainment business. Despite what wilder desires I want to see entertainers with individual flair. A team of grafters with attitude for an eternity doesn't excite me in the least.

I said at the time wilder came in and it wasn't popular on here that he would be first out of the team.

I can't tell if it was popular or not. As far as I can see, one person replied with an ambiguous HaHa. And the resident eccentric looked shocked.

As 'appreciation threads' go I think Payero might find this particular one a bit disheartening.

2 managers didn't rate him.

Not the greatest signing, but you can't win them all.

Me neither, which is why I think so many fans were desperate to see him be a success.

But you have to back your manager, plus there seems to be an element of homesickness in there too, which is why the club tried to loan him to a European club and reassess next summer.
