Mark Page verdicts being delivered now

I used to cringe when Me Mark Page took to the microphone at the Riverside, how in hells name was he given the job. He woluld never be missed.
I’ve never heard a nice word spoken about the man professionally or privately. Totally crap at the Riverside and a total creep/bell end off the mic. A comparison was made with Jimmy Saville that rings true.. hiding in plain sight sort of thing or being given a profile of sorts masking certain warning signs. ‘He did a lot for charity’

Total waste of space.

The wildcats guys was really good, not too fussed on the new guy.

I wonder if the club will carry out a review of its screening and safeguarding policies now that we know a couple of nonces have had access to club personell and potentially fans,

Can you actually do that, given neither person had any previous convictions (I believe).

What would they find, or do differently to somehow identify nonces before it's been revealed they're nonces ?

Page was looking to enter politics when he was involved with Andy Preston. Within that circle, they were wanting to put candidates forward to take on Labour. The Police and Crime Commissioner role was mentioned but the ex UKIP Steve Turner ended up prevailing. Turner has since gone on to admit previous criminal conduct and is under further investigation.

Surely Page will have to serve 2/3 of a sentence like that. Apart from the obvious horrific nature of these crimes, Page was actually attempting to leave it open for a colleague at his place of work to take the blame. I guess that is the measure of the man.

I am not sure the club could or should do anything differently, but I imagine an organisations safeguarding policy cant revolve around people owning up to being nonces.

A review to make double sure the existing processes have been followed internally and that those processes are robust.

Makes sense, but shouldn't that be something that's reviewed anyways rather than something that is only reviewed when two ex-employees are revealed to be nonces and have committed crimes outside of the clubs boundaries?

I remember on the eve of the 2019 General Election someone on Ingleby noticeboard shared a link to a BBC fact checking post and basically said “Here’s a fact check guide to help you cut through the dishonest adds that will no doubt be appearing on your newsfeeds” didn’t mention any political party and when you looked at his profile it wasn’t clear who he supported.

One of the people who took great offence to this was Mark Page, who started calling the person a bot, fake account, Labour stooge, etc.

He didn’t even attack the Tories or advocate support for Labour, but clearly this person wanting people to educate themselves on facts and not spread was enough for Page to deduce he wasn’t a Tory voter.

Typical lying Tory.

I'm sure DBS checks will be routine. But a person with no previous will be clear....

Nothing else you can do about that.

For God sake Tory my ****, he was Labour through and through, just like you and me, Although we would love to but we cannot blame them for every wrong doing in the world,

Just came across this...

It gives you chills reading it, wondering just how many children did he exploit over the years.

Falkirk FC Stadium Announcer, Dave Mac recently met up with his colleague at Middlesbrough FC, Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Mark Page who has for many years had business interests in the Far East and combines his business trips with charity work on his travels.

Ahead of Mark’s return to the Philippines later this month, we are delighted to supply him, through Dave, a set of Falkirk FC strips to be used to try and engage local children and adults into playing football.
