He certainly was a big Preston supporter.Page was looking to enter politics when he was involved with Andy Preston. Within that circle, they were wanting to put candidates forward to take on Labour. The Police and Crime Commissioner role was mentioned but the ex UKIP Steve Turner ended up prevailing. Turner has since gone on to admit previous criminal conduct and is under further investigation.
Surely Page will have to serve 2/3 of a sentence like that. Apart from the obvious horrific nature of these crimes, Page was actually attempting to leave it open for a colleague at his place of work to take the blame. I guess that is the measure of the man.
Preston will say he'd never heard of him let alone knew him.
