Surprised that John Terry hasn't been thrown into the mix yet?

I wouldn't watch it Terry was manager. Same reason I didn't watch Woodgates side. I did watch him play but never manage.
I just think there’s a general consensus we need the right fit long term and that’s not an immediate mission. Is it just me or is fans interest in this appointment quite low. Is that because there is no outstanding candidate the fans want?
With the news that no appointment this week, is that because we are,
Awaiting someone to become available? Hello Steve Cooper classy
Or to see if Leo can cut it, cheap continuity appointment
So it did, and Madrid earlier in the day and Munich yesterday afternoonPrivate jet just landed at Teesside from Bilboa
I think if Cooper became available then there'd be a bit more interest due to his very recent success. Is it just me or is fans interest in this appointment quite low. Is that because there is no outstanding candidate the fans want?

Ole Werner has a Bundesliga job. Don’t get me wrong I’d love him but we can’t afford that!Ole Werner or Marcelino García Toral if we’re going continental please
Well there was a time when the chairman had a burning ambition - who’d have thought we’d have got Bryan Robson at the time, but we did. Time to rekindle the fire !Ole Werner has a Bundesliga job. Don’t get me wrong I’d love him but we can’t afford that!
"Barring a phenomenal resurgence the playoffs are all but gone."I think that beyond a Bielsa type appointment the fans recognise that there’s not much in it now. Barring a phenomenal resurgence the playoffs are all but gone. Strap in for some entertainment with Leo and if we’re cutting it too fine then the obligatory new man can take over. We’re in a weirded place right now in that the status quo is the best that we can hope for.
Chris Jones - Anthony Barry
Ex Chelsea, current Belgium assistant
Nobby Barnes - Carlos Corberan
Aitor re-gen did ok with Huddersfield
Newyddion - Liam Rosenoir
Missed out on him, done well at Derby
Neil Bausor - Steve Cooper
Urgg, he did it last season!
Steve Gibson - Michael Carrick
Geordie ex Man Utd captain/coach
Kieran Scott - Rob Edwards
Bessie mate sacked off by Watford
Which one of them is gonna start churning out 2ppg straight from the off? Leo has the stage and is flanked by some very capable coaches. We improve on 1ppg and we’ve upgraded on Wilder. Introduce a few academy players into the first team and we’re much further forward than we thought.
If we have a strong run up to Xmas we could be well worth investing further. If not.. we need all our business lined up before the season finishes.
5 points doesn’t guarantee the playoffs.. then we have the rest of the teams to content with along with historical averages."Barring a phenomenal resurgence the playoffs are all but gone."
Really newy? Its only 5 points to make up in 34 games.
Yeah, certainly no guarantees, but I don't feel like its all but gone and I'd be a bit disheartened if a new appointment took that attitude.5 points doesn’t guarantee the playoffs.. then we have the rest of the teams to content with along with historical averages.
It’s not over.. but a phenomenal resurgence is not impossible.
Steve Cooper instigated a phenomenal resurgence with Forest last season.. he was in a breed position than we are and that success cannot simply be grafted onto this squad.
Steve Cooper crucially had Dane Murphy, a CEO who helped steer Barnsley to 5th the year before, in charge of recruitment without any sort of illusions as to what said role entailed.5 points doesn’t guarantee the playoffs.. then we have the rest of the teams to content with along with historical averages.

I think a new appointment would struggle tbhYeah, certainly no guarantees, but I don't feel like its all but gone and I'd be a bit disheartened if a new appointment took that attitude.
Sounds like he could be going to Southampton if him and Hassenhuttl both get the chopI think if Cooper became available then there'd be a bit more interest due to his very recent success.
Steady on….hell no.
Think I'd rather have Strachan back!
Wouldn't surprise me, not sure what saints fans would think about taking the manager from the bottom placed team, but it could be a decent appointmentSounds like he could be going to Southampton if him and Hassenhuttl both get the chop
