Litter, why are people so scruffy?

Yeh even here out in the moors it is a real problem. Locals go round picking it up but really shouldnt have to ands a lot of it comes from walkers who you would think would be more responsible. If I was in charge :) What I would do is, given that every package has a bar code on it, create bins which scan rubbish and enter people into a lottery for each piece they put in. You would then get lots of people purposefully gathering up as much as they can to enter. Not goign to happen though.

A mate of mine, big skinhead, on seeing a scrote dump a crisp packet for the umpteenth time in his front hedge, left the comfort of his sofa to retrieve the crisp packet, stuff it in the mouth of the scrote and deposit said scrote head first into the (his) wheelie bin which was out for collection day.

funnily enough he had no further issues with rubbish in his hedge/ garden.

Walking around my way people are taking the term 'disposable masks' literally😕

I went out for a run on Monday and counted 9 blue masks just thrown into bushes or on the pavement. I mean who just thinks 'I've done with this mask so I'll drop it where I stand?'

The amount of Mcdonalds in particular is shocking. People just eat them in cars and throw out of the window. I saw a couple of lads sat in Mcdonalds car park finish and just open the doors and drop the bags and drive off. I swear the bin was 10ft away.....lazy c"nts.

I just think many people are just lazy or no regard for anything.

You can add things like not picking up dog muck / not clearing tables in KFC etc when finished to leaving shopping trollies abandoned in supermarket parking bays (my new pet hate😕). I saw someone pack the shopping in the car and drive off. The trolly 'bay' was about 5 ft away.

I genuinely think there's not a day goes by that I don't think 'what's wrong with folk'.

The ironic thing about discarding a disposable mask onto the ground is that you may very well be spreading Covid by doing so, which kind of defeats the point of wearing it in the first place

It's sad isn't it. Really can't understand the mentality of people that want their local area to look like a dump.

Well done to you weemoby for having a go at two of then. Have to admit, I probably wouldn't just because as you said I can imagine the chew you got back off them.
In hindsight, it was rather foolish of me and to be honest, I probably wouldn't pull 'lads' up on it again

If the scenario arises again, I would probably just revert to being very British and tut loudly whilst picking up their mess.
(Life it too short to get into some jip with a couple of scallies over a couple of burger wrappers)

Driving down a country road the other day must have been a hundred seagulls there, i said to the wife must be a dead hedgehog, wrong, a discarded McDonald's bag. TAKE IT HOME.

I've seen people walking from Wynyard woodland walk car park with take out coffee. Along the pathways there's coffee cups in the bushes and hidden behind trees. If its carried in why not carry it out?

because they are worried that someone saw them not pick it up in the first place, so they pick it and bag it, only to chuck it when no one is looking.

another level of lazy sneakiness.

That happens a lot on Kirkleatham Lane in Redcar. I was walking up to the village during early lockdown. From Welbeck Road junction to Rosebery Road there must have been about 20 little black bags of dog crap dumped on side of the path or thrown into the hedge. I would make dogs wear some form of nappy(and a muzzle but thats another subject) when being walked. Why should I have to put up with discarded crap from so called dog lovers.

Stands back and reaches for tin hat from the "Not me Guv" brigade. I know its not most people but sorry but they will suffer for other selfish barstewards.

a complete lack of personal accountability. Its always someone else's problem and responsibility to clean up after these scrotes.

Same as the people who use dot leave their mess in fast food restaurants rather than putting it in the bin. "well someone else will clean it up"

You hit 90% of the UKs problems in one short line there Billy69_uk "a complete lack of personal accountability."

I dont recall seeing anything like it in Germany. Even in the big cities.
As soon as you finish a can of coke - someone wants your empty can - because in some places they get money for recycling bi-products.
Mybe we should do that here?
And make "producer - pays" the driver for reducing use of plastics and other unsustainable resources.

I went fishing and after I finished I left some maggots on the bank.

Two weeks later I got a knock on the door from an environmental health officer, he said he had come to give me a fine for fly tipping. 😄
Dear me!!! :LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL:
(I'm ashamed to say I laughed)
