Liam Gallagher John Squire

I know they all do it now, but I hate this culture of 'teasers' where they just post a date and a cryptic looking image. The date will simply be the announcement of the album, which will probably be next summer. Until then, I couldn't really give a **** about it. And again, that's coming from an amateur Oasis/Stone Roses historian.

From what I've heard ist single first week of Jan, video already done. Doubt LG will hang around as he is busy from June with Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary tour.

Good point.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be listening to this on the day of release. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised, but just expecting it to be pretty rubbish.

Always best to have low expectations of these things to be sure. They very rarely live up to the hype. Still excited to hear it though.

"It sounds like Second Coming with Liam at his best over the top’ remarked LTW boss John Robb who has heard tracks."

Didn't the Roses do this back in the day with graffiti before the first album? Or did they save that for when they trashed their record companies office

Not sure trashing the offices was anything to do with album release?

They wrote their name on a few bridges and walls before the first album, yes, as they had little/no marketing campaign. But they didn't do it to raise awareness of another announcement. It all just feels heavily record company/manufactured now, but I appreciate its the way of the world.
