Labour Gain Wandsworth and may also win Westminster Council

Today, is what it is. The real event is whether or not Tory mp’s think their seats are safe…they will be on their WhatsApp groups winding each other up until the close of play tonight.
Scotland might be interesting. Johnson may die today, unlikely maybe, but the leading contender among the party membership is still Truss. The devil inside keeps keeps nudging me and saying. “That would good for the craic”😉

The BBC coverage is borderline Tory propaganda. The charts seem to be directly contradicting the "expert analysis" and there's little to no mention of the fact labour had more seats to defend so harder to make gains.

What is encouraging is the number of Tory councillors explicitly blaming Johnson. There's a lot of anger there (not that I have any sympathy whatsoever). If their grassroots start turning on him that only adds to the pressure.

Had BBC news on for 15 minutes, and they went on and on about LibDems the whole time
Liberal metropolitan elite aren't they? Or government mouthpiece. Either way you're right. The tories have lost a significant number of seats. Nowhere near enough for my liking

I saw Kuensberg on BBC breakfast this morning, obviously still with a gob full of Johnson's Johnson; she was doing her best to frame it as nobody winning but the lib dems. If I was one of the hosts I'd question her as is she was a Tory spokesperson because well.

She is.

Lots of Labour losses have been in councils they already dominate which is dragging their net gains, this was always going to happen as Labour are defending the most councils.

So far this has framed the narrative that Labour have not gained as many as they should, which is disingenuous and as I said would happen a few weeks ago.
